‘Wake Up’ is the first offering from Brisbane band FOXSMITH.
Recorded at Blackbox Studios in April this year with Brissy engineers/whiz kids Meisha Stevens and Jeff Lovejoy, ‘Wake Up’ is is a breath of fresh air, where fantasy is breathed in deeply and dreamy lust is sighed out.
Packed full of catchy riffs, smooth vocals and groove-pop goodness, the single is a snug fit into their live show, which encompasses jangly, garage pop tunes through to darker, shimmering soundscapes drawing comparisons to The Cure, Warpaint and the like.
‘Wake Up’ is the first taste of what is yet to come from FOXSMITH, and sees the indie pop outfit playing single launch dates in Brisbane and Melbourne.
